City Guide: Wayzata - via Style-Architects

Although lovers to our 'hood we like to call the North Loop, we think it's time we spread our wings and explore some of the other gems the Twin Cities has to offer. Over the past few weeks, we've spent some time enjoying the final dog days over by Lake Minnetonka, eating, sunbathing and shopping our way through Wayzata. Whether you consider yourself a foodie or a fashionista, there's no doubt you'll find yourself in awe by this charming city. Here are a few of our notable favs: 1. Look out Sunsets, there's a new kid on the block. Reserve a table at Cōv and you'll feel like you're eating right in nantucket.

2. House of 365. Your one-stop shop for all things gorgeous. From classics like Diane Von Furstenberg and Nanette Lepore to affordable lines like Bailey 44, you're sure to find a staple for your wardrobe at this mother/daughter-owned boutique.

3. Who says you have to send your measurements to France to get a swoon-worthy designer gown? {Yes, that's a Bridesmaids reference..thanks Kirsten Wiig} For you brides-to-be, make sure to add Posh Bridal Couture to your tour de wedding dress.

4. Ever-what? Say hello to the new and improved Hot Mama, Evereve. With a new name comes many new locations, including a Wayzata location.

5. Fashion Ave 2. Filled with hidden treasures from the past, Edina's sister store has a collection of chic designer clothing, accessories, and shoes. Like, we're talking Chanel and Louis Vuitton..need we say more?

6. Don't wait until after New Years to show some love for your bod. Steele Fitness' owner, Steele Smiley takes fitness upscale with his first location located in downtown Wayzata.

7. Adios ice cream, hello yogurt. From avocado to birthday cake {and every topping you can image} make sure to stop into Yogurt Lab, the tastiest science lab you've ever been in.
