We can thank San Francisco transplants, Joel and Lauren Gryniewski, for opening up just what Eat Street needed- a perfectly quaint and charismatic gift shop focusing on unique gifts from around the world. Greater Goods offers one-of-a-kind cards {and serves as the flagship store the couple's very own stationary brands, Old Tom Foolery + Modern Lore} plus an assortment of gifts including pillows, candles, lotions and other trinkets for the home. One can't ignore the adorable writing corner where shoppers can sign, seal, and mail letters right from the shop- perfect for you last-minute gift givers! To top it off, the couple generously donates a portion of the store's proceeds to the community. Here, photo stylist Judith Kostroski calls out some of her favorite Greater Goods products through a variety of vignettes. Enjoy!
1. I think of summer, I think of my cabin. I absolutely love the fish bottle opener, and think it would make the perfect addition to my families place up north. Some of my other favorite products of this same nature are the various sprays and candles by Manready Mercantile. The scents from these products are the perfect mixture of masculine-meets-feminine.
2. Saying I’m obsessed with these fruit tea towels would be an understatement. I'll be moving into a new space soon and I know that I will be back to purchase a few of the pomegranate printed towels. They are so simple, yet add fun texture and visual interest to a kitchen. Another thing that I have my eye on are these little dishes with muted coral edging and a fun gold accented/ink splattered design!
3. I know for a fact that one of these prints is coming home with me at some point. They are so simple yet have such a bright color pallet that they would make any gallery wall or shelf a bit more interesting (not to mention they would be a great gift). Speaking of color, these bowls are pretty incredible. I love how vibrant they are without being too over the top, they would be great in a kitchen, bathroom, on a desk, you name it.
