On a snowy December morning, the Style-Architects + Brand-Architects team celebrated the anticipated arrival of {Baby Sandok}. Our team prepared for this special day with cooking, decorating and even sewing a tulle table skirt!
No baby shower at our office would be complete without delectable quiches, Glam Doll Donuts, Izze’s wrapped in cloth diapers, mimosas, and a board decorated with baby photos and new mother advice. We kept our décor elements simple and feminine with neutral tablescapes and added pops of color with handmade paper decorations.
Our SA/BA team {and even some old faces} gathered to enjoy breakfast and gush over what to look forward to as a mother.
Curious about have to make this tulle table skirt? It’s easy!
1. Order tulle by the yard. We ordered 80 yards of tulle from PaperMart for our 70”x36” table.
2. Working with one bold of tulle at a time, lay out five layers of tulle on top of each other for a total length of 24 feet. Line up the edge and secure with binder clips.
3. Using fishing line, stitch the layers together using wide stitches (1/2” in length).
4. Scrunch the tulle to shorten the overall length to 9’.
